Pocket Money Toy Collection
As a PTFA we are committed to reducing the amount of single-use plastic at our events and
we would like to dedicate a whole stall to recycled items at our Summer Fair (later this
year). If anyone would like to donate any of the following items we would be very grateful:
*Fidget toys
*Party bag toys
*Bouncy balls
*Keyrings
*Unused slime/putty
*Small toys
The items do not need to be new but should be in good, clean working condition. We will put a collection box in Year 3 and 4 hub.

MP Visit
The School Council children had a special visitor on Friday 11th March. Kate Osborn MP came to visit our school to speak with the School Council about her life as a serving MP. The children learned all about what inspired Kate to follow her chosen career path and how she supports other MP's and her local community. The children were very excited to meet her and asked lots of interesting questions.
Healthy Schools Award
Today, Mrs Pearson and the Year 5 school councillors attended a virtual award ceremony where we were presented with our plaque and certificate for achieving the Healthy Schools Award. This is testament to the hard work of staff and pupils in re-achieving the award.
The panel were very impressed with:
- how well-being is at the heart of the school
- the school's outstanding Rainbow Flag work
- the promotion of active travel through the walking bus
- staff modelling healthy behaviour to all stakeholders
- how health education has parity with academic subjects across the school
